Torsion springs are mechanical devices designed to exert a force when a torque or torsional force is applied along their axis of development.

The spring consists of the “legs” which have the function of transferring the torque/torque force and the cylindrical-shaped body with or without pitch with the function of storing the energy due to the torsion. Depending on the use of the spring, the wire winding can be right or left.

The field of application is very wide and can cover both mechanical and electronic environments, as well as medical, food and geological.
